Secreations after sex on period?

so my lovely x girlfriend didnt mention she was on her period. that is information that I would like to know BEFORE I dont wear a condom. For a week afterwards my penis was wet mabe fighting off some bacteria? it has been two months and everything is normal. I just got a gonorrhea test I will know in three days. Is it normal to get secreations after the bacteria gets up in there from her period. thanks i got aids and sypholis test and I dont have either. I am going to be alot more carefull with who I chose to have sex with from now on.
