Too Clingy In Long Distance Relationship?

I know I shouldn't let it get to me, but I have a ex that says I'm too clingy and I'm afraid I may be too clingy for the current relationship I am in now. My ex used to say he liked how clingy I was but that's the reason we ended breaking up. I asked my current bf because I'm worried he says it's ok, but I'm trying to be carefull about it this time around, am I just being too carefull? I talk to him alot over the internet and I like being at home rather than going out. The only thing that gives me hope right now in this relationship is that my ex didn't plan to move by me but my current bf does. When I'm in a relationship I really try my best not to mess anything up, please help me out!
