When a person is having a seizure?

what should one do at the moment? i know some part like pushing them on their side and being carefull with the head. and watch what kind of seizure they have but do i have to call for help? or stay there .. i dont know. i need help since i am writing a a reseach paper. and i started wondering about this . when i was writing my paper.
